With ever-increasing scientific knowledge, much of which contradicts historic religious claims, many evangelists have realised that faith alone is no longer enough to attract new converts. In response, a new wave of Christian philosophers are attempting to build a more credible case for Christianity.
In this ‘post-holiday workout for your grey matter’, we consider their claims and discuss effective counter-arguments for Humanists and atheists to use in debate.
