Good without God: Thinking about Right and Wrong

Good Without GodSaturday 10th November 2.00pm
Moordown Community Centre, Coronation Avenue, Moordown Bournemouth BH9 1TW

A presentation and discussion led by former Emeritus Professor of Moral Philosophy, Richard Norman

  • · How do non-religious people determine ‘right’ from ‘wrong’?
  • · Do we need a moral theory, or a set of moral rules or principles?
  • · If so, where do we get them from?
  • · Is it all “just a matter of personal opinion” (relativism)?

Distinguished philosopher and author, Richard Norman will attempt to answer these questions and offer suggestions for a rational approach to morality without God.

“A great opportunity to open our minds to different ways of approaching this often controversial subject”

Free entry (donations appreciated).     Everyone welcome!
