March Bulletin

DW 6298984 (crop) In this month's Bulletin we say farewell to Pope Benedict XVI and call upon atheists and Humanists to resist the global evangelism of the Catholic Church.  Also this month, reports on two fantastic recent events (Thomas Hardy and Alfred Russel Wallace), and news about our forthcoming events on Free Will and Humanist Ceremonies.

Please don't forget to make a special effort to attend our Annual General Meeting this coming Saturday to have your say on how we shape the future priorities of Dorset Humanists.  Everyone is welcome to join us, although you have to be a member to vote.  Join online now, or at the meeting for just £12!

It's also a great time to join the British Humanist Association (BHA). The BHA is now able to give local group members a special offer if they are joining the British Humanist Association for the first time. The special offer is 18 months membership of the BHA for the price of 12 months.  If you would like to take the BHA up on this offer, contact us to obtain the special discount code to enter when joining the BHA online. Visit www.humanism.org.uk/join to take advantage of this special offer.*

We look forward to seeing you soon.

David Warden
Chair, Dorset Humanists

*This offer is only available to local group members who are joining the BHA for the first time. If new members choose to pay their membership fee by monthly direct debit they will pay nothing for the first 6 months, and then pay £3 per month.
