Welcome to Dorset Humanists

Dorset Humanists is a welcoming group for humanists, atheists and agnostics who seek to live ethical and fulfilling lives on the basis of reason and humanity. We meet in Bournemouth for informative and enjoyable presentations, debates and discussions on a wide range of subjects including ethics, science, religion, philosophy, politics, our environment and much more. We also organise regular social events.

August Bulletin

DW 6298984 (crop)It is with great sadness that we announce, in this month's Bulletin, the death of Jane Bannister who was, until recently, Vice Chair of Dorset Humanists.  Together with her husband Dennis, who died last Summer, she was one of the great driving forces behind the success of Dorset Humanists. We shall miss her hugely.

As well as our fond memories of Jane, the bulletin also includes news of our August events, plus news of our very successful weekend at the Tolpuddle Festival.

We hope you are enjoying the Summer sunshine and hope to see you all again very soon.

Best wishes

David Warden
Chair, Dorset Humanists
