Welcome to Dorset Humanists

Dorset Humanists is a welcoming group for humanists, atheists and agnostics who seek to live ethical and fulfilling lives on the basis of reason and humanity. We meet in Bournemouth for informative and enjoyable presentations, debates and discussions on a wide range of subjects including ethics, science, religion, philosophy, politics, our environment and much more. We also organise regular social events.

January Bulletin

DW 6298984 (crop) We did it! Dorset Humanists raised a fantastic amount for our Winter Appeal, significantly beating last year’s total. Thank you so much for all your donations. See inside this month's bulletin for full details.

This coming Saturday (11th January), we have the privilege of welcoming Andrew Copson to tell us about the work of the British Humanist Association (BHA). Andrew is Chief Executive of the BHA and he appears regularly on TV and in other media.

Darwin Day is approaching and to celebrate we are heading back to the Bournemouth International Centre for a delicious two course meal, followed by our special guest speaker Crispian Jago.  Places are limited so do book up soon - the booking form is here.

We also have an exciting new programme taking us up to May 2014. Download a copy here, or collect one at forthcoming meetings.

Very best wishes for 2014 and we look forward to seeing you soon,
David Warden
Chair, Dorset Humanists
