What: A talk by David Croman. This fully illustrated talk will start with the life of the extraordinary physician, innovative inventor, botanist, scientist, engineer, poet, evolutionist, and grandfather of Charles Darwin. Erasmus Darwin was a leading member of a group of key pioneers including Josiah Wedgwood and James Watt. They shared their ideas and informed and challenged each other at regular meetings of the Lunar Society. David Croman is a former Secretary of Dorset Humanists.
