Welcome to Dorset Humanists

Dorset Humanists is a welcoming group for humanists, atheists and agnostics who seek to live ethical and fulfilling lives on the basis of reason and humanity. We meet in Bournemouth for informative and enjoyable presentations, debates and discussions on a wide range of subjects including ethics, science, religion, philosophy, politics, our environment and much more. We also organise regular social events.

Annual General Meeting

Dorset HumanistsSaturday, 10th March 2.00pm

Moordown Community Centre, Coronation Avenue, Moordown, Bournemouth. BH9 1TW

Together with reports from your  committee, and committee elections, this year promises to be one of the most interesting in terms of important debates, discussions and decisions. We will be discussing, and voting on, a possible name change for Dorset Humanists as well as considering whether to form a closer partnership with the British Humanist Association.

If you would like to nominate someone to join the committee, or make a
formal proposal, please pick up a nomination form at one of our meetings, or contact us. Nominations and formal proposals must be received by the end of February.

Everyone is welcome to attend but you must be a member in order to vote.  Membership costs just £12pa.  Ask for a membership form, if you’d like to join.
