September Bulletin and Newsletter

DW 6298984 (crop) We are extremely sad to report the death of Dennis Bannister in this month's bulletin.  We publish tributes to him, and provide details of his funeral ceremony on Thursday 6th September.

Also in this month's bulletin, details of our forthcoming events and news of a Secular March in London, a more extensive article on our visit to a school in Salisbury, and a controversial letter on whether Humanists should be militant.  In Chairman's View I respond to the question of militancy, and I also review the former Bishop of Edinburgh's recent memoir.

Our new 'One Life' course on Humanism and Atheism is nearly full, so if you'd like to come along you'd better hurry!

We look forward to seeing you soon.
Best wishes,
David Warden
Chair, Dorset Humanists
