The Green House Hotel, 4 Grove Road, Bournemouth BH1 3AX
A presentation and discussion led by David Warden, Chair of Dorset Humanists
If you believe that reason and evidence provide a better way of understanding the universe than belief in God or gods; and ethics and morality should be based on their consequences for people, society and our planet, rather than on ancient dogma from religious texts, you are probably a Humanist.
In this introductory talk and discussion, David will discuss Humanist values, some of the challenges facing Humanists today, and why he believes Humanism will be an increasingly important feature of the 21st century as religion continues to decline.
Come along for a great opportunity to find out more about Humanism.
Free entry (donations appreciated). Everyone welcome!
(The Green House Hotel can also be accessed from Gervis Road, which is better lit and has roadside parking).

humanism is not about atheism.
to say that you exclude anyone is a contradiction to being a humanist.
