March Bulletin

DWIn this month’s bulletin we are very sad to announce the deaths of our founder Tony Tiffany and of longstanding member Eileen Brennan.

In more positive news we are pleased to announce that Dorset Humanists has joined the International Humanist and Ethical Union to support the work of this global organisation in promoting and defending freedom of speech and expression. As murders and death threats against humanists continue around the world there could be no better time to join.

We hope you’ll be able to join us at our AGM on Saturday 14th March which is always lively and more enjoyable than people imagine an AGM to be! If you can't make it the AGM, be sure to turn up early to our Election Special with Parliamentary Candidates from the main parties later this month as we are expecting a large crowd.

If you missed out on our Darwin Day celebratory event there's an edited transcript of A C Grayling's talk inside the bulletin, along with more news, views and events.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
